The Pedagogical Project of the Escola Superior de Enfermagem S. Francisco das Misericórdias is developed within the coordinates of the culture of quality, with its own norms and benchmarks, and defends spontaneous, voluntary, development-oriented and omnipresent relationships over time. and in space.
It contemplates the relationships between the four dimensions of a quality culture:
- 1. Curricular development (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year).
- 2. Organizational development.
- 3. Personal and professional development.
- 4. Improving student learning.
In the educational/training trajectory over the 4 years, the student obtains scientific, human, cultural and technical training that allows him to develop skills, attitudes and abilities essential for a responsible, ethical, autonomous and innovative professional practice.
The Pedagogical Project is involved in the dynamism of reflexive and pondered self-construction that aims to accompany the student to a stage of responsible autonomy, by the awareness of the volatility of knowledge and its relativization in the face of cybernetics with evident implications in the need for self-realization, self-criticism and investigation, as strategies for adapting to correct professional practice. According to the curriculum, the degree in nursing is structured in order to correspond to the Pedagogical Project centered on the student, as a central subject of the entire teaching-learning process, stimulating an increasing and progressive “taste for the nursing profession”.
All phases and stages of the Pedagogical Project are included in the contents of the Study Plan for the Degree in Nursing and Complementary to Nursing Training approved by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education:
